Hope for the City provides much needed food and basic needs supplies to increase the outreach capacity of community-based, non-profit organizations serving those in need in Minnesota and beyond.

A powerful local presence

Over 90% of our resources stay in Minnesota- a testament to our commitment of getting donations to our neighbors next door. With every $100 donated, we distribute $3,300 worth of life-changing resources.

Growing our international impact

Education and basic needs supplies benefit schools and orphanages, often in war-torn areas. Hope for the City supports our international Partnering Agencies by supplying medical supplies and equipment surplus--supplies from local hospitals and clinics that would no longer be used in the U.S. to facilities in developing nations.

Lunch Box for Kids program

For Minnesota school-aged children that rely on free or reduced-price lunches and breakfasts during the school year, summer is a tough time to receive proper nutrition. The Lunch Box for Kids program fills that void. Donating just $20 provides two kids lunch for two weeks!
